Jeff Collett 
[ BACK ]

Jeff ColletteJeff Collett  has been involved in Minor and rep sports since the age of 7 in playing, coaching and refereeing.  He started coaching from the age of 14. He has spent 9 years in the scouting organization at a local level and held administrative and leader positions. Jeff has coached and organized football taken teams down to the US and Europe for tournaments over the years,

Jeff has been involved with football in Newmarket holding various positions on the executive board of the York Simcoe Minor Football as Vice President since 2003.  With the collapse of the Bantam and Collegiate programs from COMFL in 2005 Jeff was instrumental in bringing football to York Region with the entrance of the York Simcoe Storm Football Club into the OVFL in 2005 to provide football to the area. Jeff has been the President of the York Simcoe Storm Football Club since its inception working to develop football in the area and at various schools in York Region.  Jeff has been instrumental in helping develop over 500 players from the Storm program, 60 players that have move on to various CIS programs throughout Canada.  Jeff has served on various committees of the OVFL and since 2008 has been serving as the assistant Peewee commissioner of the OVFL.
