Michael Esposito started the London Falcons Football Club in the summer of 2000, entering a team in the varsity division of the Ontario Varsity Football League. His goal was to enhance the quality of football in London and surrounding area and to provide a competitive venue where young men could further develop their skills.
Coaching is a love for Mike, as being the head coach of the London Senior Falcons Football team since 2000, Mike has been instrumental in the span of a decade, the London Falcons have won five championships and had four finalists’ appearances, one of the most successful football organizations in the OVFL. Over 800 young players have benefited from Michael’s coaching dedication to the sport. The London Falcons were the first organization to have all three teams in the championship final in 2009. Michael has served on many executive committees for the OVFL bringing a positive change to the football community in Ontario. Michael’s continued efforts continue as he has successfully started two high football programs at St Thomas Aquinas Secondary School and Mother Teresa Secondary School in London.
The London Falcons program is made possible by the work of the entire Esposito family. Rose Esposito along with children Kristina and Michael JR have helped make the London Falcons one of the most prestige football programs in Ontario. |
