WEEK 9 LONDON FALCONS >>>>> <<<<< HAMILTON IRONMEN

PEE WEE Falcons game outline

Falcons Soar to Victory over Ironmen to Claim Post season Spot.

On a gorgeous day for football in Hamilton,  the Falcons were facing a must win situation. The Falcons visited McMaster University to square off against the Ironmen. The situation was obvious for the Falcons.  Win and your in!  With Hamilton ensured a post season visit and the Falcons looking to join the post season,  each team was needing their best game to gain a momentum for the opening round.

The day was all Falcons.  Hamilton won the opening coin toss and elected to receive the opening kickoff.  The day started with big kickoff by D.  Droulliard.  The long kickoff and great coverage put the Ironmen inside their own 35.  The Falcons defense controlled the early Ironmen attack and forced a punt in the opening minutes.

A short return setup the Falcons first scoring drive of the quarter.  The offense took to the ground and drove the field.  RB's Greg Cherniak and Sinjon Crombleholme shared the carries and capped the drive with an early score.  A successful hold and convert put the Falcons up early in the 1st.

The Falcons defense controlled the tempo for the remainder of the game.  With the defense controlling the field position while stifling the Ironmen rushing attack.  The Falcons offense was put into scoring position at the end and early in the second quarter. The Falcons scored twice in the opening quarter and once in each of the next three.

The Falcons held a 21-0 lead at half time.

For the day the Falcons stuffed the Ironmen two times inside the Falcons eight yard line.  Each time keeping the Ironmen off the scoreboard.  The first attempt was stopped by the Falcons defenders on four consecutive stops at the end of the 2nd.  A 1st and Goal opportunity after a long kick return was stopped with an endzone interception by DB Damion Inlakhana.
