The Mount Allison Mounties haven't won a CIS Championship since that great 1984 team that did it against Guelph at the old Varsity Stadium. Since then it has been tough sledding for the AUA team. They have watched Saint Mary's dominate tht conference for 2 decades with an occasionals move by FX and the Axemen to the top. They have had their share of OVFL grads on that team in the last 10 years and this year that component is lead by Special Teams captain Aubrey Ellis from the 2006 Newmarket Storm/Bucs (above) and former Brampton Bulldog DB Kwami Adjei.
